My motivation in operating my own law firm, focused on criminal defense and family law, is to help people get through some of the most difficult periods in their lives with caring legal representation focused on their needs and goals.

I believe that everyone accused of a crime has a right to a vigorous criminal defense. While technically, people in this country are innocent until proven guilty, what you really need when you have police and prosecutors aligned against you is a lawyer who can fight vigorously against the accusation of an alleged crime and protect your rights through out the legal process.

As the product of a five-year child custody battle while I was growing up in Colorado, I am strongly motivated to protect children by providing responsible divorce and family law representation. An innocent child can be marked for life by a contentious divorce during which he or she is forced to take the stand in court. I am a believer in collaborative divorce while at the same time understanding that each divorce is unique and requires a unique approach.
